ISO 27001 is recognised worldwide as the standard for information security management.
GreenCity Solutions has shown that we have reached the high standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) through our achievement of the ISO 27001 certification.
To gain the ISO 27001 award, GreenCity Solutions proved that we could not only prevent but defend against potential data system vulnerabilities. This achievement was due to our comprehensive suite of information security controls and the management system we introduced to ensure these controls remain efficient and continue to meet our customers’ needs.
An annual audit is carried out by an external third party to ensure our systems continue to meet the stringent requirements set out in the ISO 27001 standard.

Green City Solutions have recently achieved certification to ISO 27001 : 2013 through QMS International.
John Flynn, the Consultant who visited Green City Solutions to perform the Consultancy, summarised his visit as follows “the business of Green City Solutions is concerned with providing IT and telecommunication infrastructure and services to its clients. As evidence of its awareness of environmental matters, the company has become interested in using electrically powered vehicles for the business and has now taken delivery of one such vehicle.
“Throughout the Certification process, Green City Solutions were actively engaged in the ISO 27001 Consultancy. Many of the processes required for ISO 27001 were being followed already, and it became a question of how to document that these requirements were being achieved.
“GreenCity Solutions responded quickly to any information requests. Despite some staff changes within the Organisation, they were able to keep things going, were pro-actively engaged, and covered all the outstanding queries that arose during the Consultancy process within the applicable timescales, this promptly brought things to a successful conclusion for the award of the ISO 27001 Certificate.”
