Microsoft have recently expanded the functionality of their Teams collaboration tool with a number of new telephony options and services. Available both as part of Microsoft 365 and as a free-standalone offering Teams is used by millions around the world to collaborate and communicate with one another and adding true Voice functionality and integration options add even more value to the business offering.
In response to this SpliceCom have launched their new Teams-Call line of products and services to allow you to integrate Microsoft Teams into a new or existing SelectVoice Phone System.
SpliceCom have been providing affordable, customer focused voice solutions since they were founded in 2003 and Teams-Call is their latest innovative solution to provide additional functionality and value to their SelectVoice Platform.
Splicecom’s Teams-Call supports the Microsoft Teams Direct Routing integration, allowing Teams clients to make and receive telephone calls via the Splicecom SV1000 PBX.
SelectVoice includes Microsoft approved gateways, providing connectivity to Teams clients via Microsoft Azure, terminating on the Customer’s SV1000 Phone System, which can be in the Cloud or on premise.
With Teams-Call Users can choose to use a SpliceCom Handset or a Teams Client or both (Hybrid Working) whilst still maintaining core telephony features and business compliance solutions such as Call Reporting and Call Recording.
Microsoft Teams has a number of clients all of which can have Phone functionality enabled including the Desktop App, Smartphone App or a dedicated Deskphone which has specific support for Teams such as the Yealink T55A, T56A or T58A Teams Phones shown above.
Additional licensing may be required to enable Phone functionality within Microsoft Teams depending on existing Microsoft 365 licensing assigned to users.
